Why are Khalti and IME Pay merging?

No, there won’t be any new app. You can migrate your IME Pay app into Khalti app.

Khalti’s linked bank won’t be affected but the bank account linked to IME Pay will expire and users would have to relink their account in Khalti after the migration process.

No, If you’re a KYC verified user in either Khalti or IME Pay, you won’t have to verify your KYC again.
